Family-Friendly for Healthy Families

The St. Cloud Area YMCA is all about strengthening families and meeting children’s needs, since that’s a key part of our mission to build healthy spirits, minds and bodies for all. We offer activities for families in family-friendly accommodations with staff members and programs that foster positive growth and development.

Check out these opportunities for your family activities:

Family Fun Nights
Starting in October, the first Saturday of the month is Family Fun Night at the Y! From 5 to 9 p.m. we have physical activities, crafts, games and exercises to help the whole family enjoy the evening. Come for the entire four hours or drop in and leave as your schedule allows. Birthday Parties
Let us host your party! YMCA Birthday parties offer a stress-free way to celebrate your child's birthday. Tell us what your birthday kid and his or her friends are most interested in these days, and we’ll help you plan the party. Choose from parties that feature time in our pool, gym and other play areas. We can take care of invitations, pizza, dessert and many of the other details. Home School Classes
The YMCA offers classes to provide home-schooled students a comprehensive physical education curriculum including general fitness and swimming. Contact us about Home School Classes.

YMCA Cyber Cafe
Get online at your Y. Free to members, the St. Cloud Area YMCA is set up as a wi-fi hotspot for internet access. Use your laptop to catch up on world news, email or other online happenings while your kids are in swimming class or you’re in-between fitness classes. If you are set up to accept wireless web on your computer, simply select YMCA in your connection settings. No encryption or password/key is required and content filtering is provided.
