Health and Fitness for Life
All members of the St. Cloud Area Family Y (ages 10 and older) get FOUR fitness coaching sessions FREE with membership! Our fitness coaches will take you through a series of health assessments which include determining your:
- Blood pressure
- Resting heart rate
- Percentage of body fat (16 and older)
- Cardiovascular fitness
- Muscle strength
- Muscle endurance
Each week will include proper instruction on how to safely and effectively use the equipment, as well as developing an overall fitness training plan to help you reach your goals!
Because we want you to be successful in safely meeting your fitness goals, the St. Cloud Y takes staff training and certifications seriously. All staff hold national certifications and either have a degree in a health/fitness related field or are working toward a degree.
